Dr. Dennis Estep is currently the medical director for Freeman OccuMed.  Freeman OccuMed is a regional Occupational Medicine clinic in Southwest Missouri with three locations.   He has been with Freeman for 33 years and has extensive experience in Occupational Medicine.   He has a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University and completed a residency in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at the University of Oklahoma.   Additionally, Dr. Estep holds a master’s in public health degree from the University of Oklahoma School of Public Health, as well as a master’s degree in chemistry from Baylor University. 

Dr. Estep served as Chief medical Officer for Freeman Health System from August 2017 till November 2021.   He provided leadership in quality performance, risk management, physician recruitment, physician relations and graduate medical education.  

He is board certified in Occupational Medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine and has been recognized as a Fellow by the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
