Dr. Naomi Wriston is Past President of the American Osteopathic College of Occupational and Preventive Medicine (AOCOPM) and a Fellow of the College. She is an Occupational Medicine Physician with OhioHealth Employer Solutions (OHES) at Ohio Health in Columbus, Ohio and previously served as Assistant Medical Director for Onsite and Wellness Services. She has been in Occupational and Preventive Medicine since 2001 with a special clinical focus on providing annual evaluations through Employers for executives and their spouses, especially in the Japanese community.
She is a graduate of West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and is Board Certified in Family Medicine with a CAQ in Occupational Medicine. She has practiced in Central Ohio for 30 plus years, initially in Family Medicine and subsequently Occupational Medicine. Dr. Wriston served as Clinical Associate Professor with Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Clinical Assistant Professor with The Ohio State University, Department of Family Medicine. She is past president of the Columbus Academy of Osteopathic Medicine and past Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She served as Director of the Basic Course in Occupational Medicine for the AOCOPM (2013-2018), as Trustee on the Board of Trustees of AOCOPM (2013-2018), and later as Treasurer and President-Elect. She continues to be a Speaker for the Basic Course and the DOT Course provided by AOCOPM.
Her special professional interests include Preventive Medicine, Women’s Health, and Education, and her personal interests include travel, time with friends and family, and walking in nature.
