Greg Schwaid, DO 2025Dr. Gregory M. Schwaid, based in Tampa, Florida, is a seasoned physician with a focus on occupational medicine, public health, and medical education. His career began with a residency in preventive medicine at the Florida Department of Health, Palm Beach County, in 2014. He then worked as an Urgent Care Physician at MD Now in West Palm Beach.

From 2014 to 2020, Dr. Schwaid served as an Occupational & Urgent Care Physician at Advent Health in Tampa. He continued this work at BayCare from 2020 to 2021. In May 2021, he became the Medical Director of Employee Health for Western Florida at Advent Health, where he provided occupational medicine services and conducted independent medical exams (IMEs).

Since February 2023, Dr. Schwaid has been the Corporate Medical Director at One Medical Center in Clearwater, Florida, where he is involved in both tactical and strategic operations. He has also been serving as a Legal Medical Examiner in Tampa since November 2018, specializing in VA disability, Social Security disability, student loan discharge, and other medicolegal services.

Dr. Schwaid earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011. He also holds a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) in Health Care Organizations & Management and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical Sciences, both from the University of South Florida.

Board certified in Occupational Medicine and Preventive Medicine, Dr. Schwaid has also been active in educational roles, including as a volunteer lecturer at the University of South Florida. He has held leadership positions within the American Osteopathic College of Occupational and Preventive Medicine (AOCOPM), including President and Secretary. His publications include "Board Review in Preventive Medicine and Public Health" (1st and 2nd editions).
